Introduse© ~ allows you to easily communicate with people in your local area, through the iPhone using Location Services, and Contacts. Introduse© enables users to simply and safely exchange contact information with other users in your local area by allowing users to exchange contact information with each other. Make networking effortless by requesting information from one or multiple users with the tap of your finger.

What you can do & how it works:
- Create a simple public profile consisting of any user name (user name not specific), and a short bio about yourself (it can be anything), and a picture. This is information that everyone can see. Since we don’t recognize users by user name you can either use your real name or an alias.

- Next, set-up a private profile by pulling any information from your contacts to privately share with people of your choosing. (This is the information that people are going to request from you). It can just be an email or a business number or, if you choose, it can be a combination of any parts of your contact information including your photo icon.This allows you to be specific when exchanging private information, only share the information of your choosing.

- when you open up the application, a pin will drop on map showing your general location and making your public information viewable on maps and lists.This will make you accessible for others to see and request your information and vice-versa.

- The Maps view shows a list of users in your general vicinity that are available for you to request information from. By selecting their icon you are able to see there public information. Interested in swapping information? Simply click "Add Request." Select the request tab to monitor and manage your requests.

- Unlike BlueTooth® using Location Services allow you to see users from feet to miles away.

- If you/they accept a request, a copy of your private profile and their private profile information is exchanged and directly and imported into each users contacts list. You can request one person or several, all at once.You always have the option to decline a request.

- Is it safe? We use SSL encryption for safety and security during contact exchange.You customize selected information to be exchanged, so nothing is shared that you haven’t included. Only the people you approve will be able to get your information.

- It doesn’t have to be on to work? The application can be set to keep your pin viewable on the map for up to an hour after the application is closed.This lets users request your contact info (by keeping you listed on Google Maps®) long after you are gone from an area.The next time the application is opened, pending requests will alert the user to new contact requests.

- Its fun? You can let individuals within visual proximity know you have the application open by signaling to others that you have the application open with the introduce icon.Tap on a button and the Introduse icon will appear so you can single to others that you have the application open. Hold up, wave, or flash others that you want to exchange contact info(its a visual way to suggest contact exchange, over a crowed party, bar, or any other social occasion where it might be noisy). The logo is easily seen up to 60 feet away.
